WOOD FLOOR MEDALLIONS or CREST
A pattern inlay used at focal room points such as an entry, special room setting,
and stair landings. Usually two or more wood species, creating a specific design whether
geometric, patterns, floral and nautical motifs always using materials and species compatible with
proper floor wear surfaces. With today's technology, many wood floor medallion patterns and designs
are laser cut for accuracy and detail. These extraordinary products are
manufactured in unfinished for job site finishing (3/4" materials) and
can be factory (prefinished) for installation with prefinished wood floor
products.
